We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to provide high-level operational and administrative support to our Chief Executive Officer, with a particular focus on legal, governance, and compliance-related matters. This is a unique hybrid role suited to someone with a legal or paralegal background who is looking to apply their expertise in a fast-paced corporate environment, working closely with executive leadership, in-house counsel, and external law firms. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of legal terminology, document structures, and corporate processes, combined with the discretion, judgment, and organizational skill required to manage a busy executive's priorities. The Role: Liaise confidently and professionally with external law firms, in-house legal counsel, and regulatory bodies on behalf of the CEO Read, review, and summarise legal documents, contracts, and correspondence to support executive decision-making Support the coordination of corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, filings, and compliance documentation Assist with contract management processes, including tracking review status, deadlines, and approvals Maintain and organise corporate records, legal files, and documentation in line with company policy and applicable regulations Support due diligence processes, document collation, and general corporate transaction coordination as required Manage the CEO's calendar, correspondence, and daily priorities, exercising sound judgment on scheduling and competing demands Coordinate board meetings, executive meetings, and corporate events, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions Act as a key point of contact between the CEO and internal stakeholders and business partners Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external meetings Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion Support matters involving insolvency, including liaising with external advisors and administrators, and assisting with related documentation and reporting Provide high-level, autonomous support to the CEO, operating independently and exercising sound judgement on competing priorities Key Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience), with essential prior experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or in corporate legal support Strong ability to read, interpret, and summarise legal/corporate documents, with strong written communication skills for drafting professional correspondence Proven experience supporting senior leadership/executives in a fast-paced environment, working autonomously with sound judgement and minimal direction Exceptional organisational skills, managing multiple priorities and confidential matters with a high level of professionalism and discretion when liaising with lawyers, executives, and external stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; exposure to insolvency processes (voluntary administration, liquidation, restructuring) and familiarity with contract management/legal document platforms are highly regarded
