Experienced Nursery Worker

Fleming's Nurseries, based in Monbulk, are seeking experienced nursery workers to join their team. Working closely with management this role ensures the nursery operation runs in a productive and efficient manner. You will feel at home working in the nursery situation, thrive in a physical environment and enjoy all aspects of the Horticulture Industry. We are looking for an employee that being in the nursery industry is ‘who they are’ and where they want to be, we are looking for leaders, that someday in the future can see themselves managing a large Horticulture operation. RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS (not limited to): Working with managers Planting and/or potting Pruning, staking, and weeding Budding and grafting Picking orders and loading trucks Tree Work Tractor operation Irrigation maintenance Ordering Stock Labelling General nursery and Production duties KEY ATTRIBUTES/SKILLS Previous experience working in a similar environment, Passion for horticulture and working outdoors, Experience with managing a small team (ideal but not essential), Hands on nursery experience, Great can-do attitude, Enjoy working with and helping develop people, Ability to develop skills, Good communication, Eye for detail, Have a great work ethic and attitude.
