We are seeking a proactive Air & Sea Freight Operations (Assistant Manager/Manager) to oversee and execute end-to-end international forwarding operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day import/export movements, coordinating with carriers and vendors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading operational efficiency to deliver seamless solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities 1. Operations & Shipment Coordination Oversee and manage day-to-day international freight forwarding operations (Air / Sea / Land) for import and export shipments. Coordinate with carriers, co-loaders, overseas agents, and local vendors to schedule transport, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery. Monitor operational workflows, resolve shipment delays, and handle unexpected operational issues or disputes effectively. 2. Vendor Management & Cost Control Liaise with carriers, shipping lines, and logistics vendors to confirm space allocation, booking status, and service delivery. Review and verify operational charges, freight costs, fuel surcharges, and accessorial fees to support cost optimization. Track vendor and carrier performance, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). 3. RFQ Support & Cross-Team Collaboration Support RFQ/RFP processes by providing accurate operational requirements, lead times, and cost estimates. Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Customs Clearance, and Finance teams to ensure smooth operational execution and billing accuracy. Ensure all import/export documentation and customs compliance requirements are fully met. 4. Data Analysis & Performance Reporting Collect, track, and analyze key operational metrics (KPIs), such as on-time delivery rates and transit times. Prepare regular operational and performance reports for management. Identify workflow bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in international freight forwarding operations (Air/Sea Freight). Experience at a Supervisory or Lead level is strongly preferred. Strong problem-solving, communication, and team management skills. Good command of English (both written and spoken).
