1) Business performance (Marketing P&L and Budget Controller) • Own the Brand & Marketing P&L with Finance: annual planning, monthly tracking of actual vs. budget for all four teams. • Analyze and control marketing cost as % of revenue, campaign ROI / ROAS, platform commission and promo cost, and marketing contribution to EBIT. • Lead the monthly business review of the four teams: performance vs. mission targets, key issues, and improvement initiatives proposed to the CEO. • Identify profitability opportunities: channel mix, promo depth, pricing and menu mix (with R&D and Finance). 2) Team leadership & culture • Directly manage the 3 team leads (Marketing, Communications, R&D): set individual KPIs, run weekly team-lead meetings, monthly 1:1s, and annual performance reviews. • Build a high-performance culture with clear KPIs per team; results reviewed openly in the monthly business review. • Own the org structure: define roles, approve hiring, and prepare succession planning for key positions. 3) Decision rights • Approves all campaign briefs, marketing budgets, and media/agency spend within the approved annual budget; escalates above-budget items to CEO. • Final approval on brand identity, key visuals, packaging, and all external communication in every market. • Go / no-go sign-off on new product launches together with R&D, Finance (costing), and Supply Chain (readiness). 4) Brand Leader • Own, manage, and strengthen the overall brand positioning to ensure a clear, distinctive, and consistent brand identity. • Define and craft the end-to-end brand journey across all customer touchpoints, ensuring the brand experience is aligned from awareness through engagement, conversion, and loyalty. • Translate brand strategy into clear guidelines, narratives, campaigns, and experiences that strengthen brand equity and customer perception. Key responsibilities 1. Brand strategy & portfolio management Strategic formulation • Develop and refine Emily's brand strategy per market based on market analysis, consumer understanding, and competitor analysis (Thai F&B chains, delivery-native brands, and Thai brands abroad). • Regularly review pricing and menu/product mix with R&D and Finance to ensure competitiveness and profitability; recommend changes based on market trends and consumer insights. Performance monitoring & insights • Conduct monthly analysis of sales and delivery-platform data (orders, rankings, ratings, basket size) per branch and per market; identify challenges and build action plans. • Run yearly brand reviews and post-campaign reviews; share learnings with the wider team. • Prepare the monthly brand & marketing performance report for management review. Gap plans • When a branch, channel, or market falls behind target, own the gap plan: diagnose, decide corrective actions with the relevant team lead, and track weekly until recovered. 2. Marketing commercial (Marketing team) Delivery & E-commerce platforms (TH/SG) • Own the relationship and joint business plans with Grab, LINE MAN, Shopee, Tiktok and other platforms: campaign slots, co-funded promotions, visibility placements, and ratings management. • Review platform performance weekly (Sales, rankings, ROI, promo depth) and decide promotional actions. CRM (TH/SG) • Build and run the CRM plan: customer segments, lifecycle campaigns, loyalty mechanics; review retention and repeat-rate monthly. • Craft and deliver magic moment for Emily’s Memberships. Gain membership both Thailand and International Market. Events & B2B sales • Drive sale thru LSM, event activation and build relationship with Landlord, Organizer, Partner. • Set the yearly sale events calendar (pop-ups, festivals, collaborations) with clear budget and sales targets per event. • Grow the B2B and catering pipeline: corporate clients, hotels, and partners; review the pipeline 3. New product launches (with R&D) • Manage the end-to-end launch process for new menu items and seasonal products: concept and consumer validation, recipe development with R&D, costing with Finance, and launch readiness with Central Kitchen and Supply Chain. • Develop the launch plan for each new product: marketing activities, delivery-platform placement, in-store materials, and sales targets. • Coordinate with Supply Chain / Central Kitchen / Warehouse to secure product availability and minimize stockouts during campaigns and launches. • Adapt products for local taste and regulations in each international market with the local partner. 4. Go-to-market : international markets • Own the marketing side of each market entry with the International Business Team: brand positioning, localized messaging, menu communication, pricing positioning, and launch campaign. • Support International team to build the market-launch playbook • For partner markets, define the brand standards the local partner must follow (identity, KVs, tone of voice, service standards) and audit compliance after launch. • Review each market's marketing performance monthly with the local team; adjust plans market by market. 5. Marketing communication (Communications team) Content, KOL & design leadership • Direct the Content and Designer teams build manage all marketing funnel across media channel both online and in-store. • Develop compelling Brand book and key visuals (KVs) per campaign that work in-store, on delivery apps, and on social; ensure consistency across all touchpoints and markets. • Develop and execute KOL engagement plans per market to drive buzz, awareness, and credibility; build and maintain the KOL/influencer network in Thailand and each new market. PR • Craft strategic planning for Brand communication Both Local and International • Manage media relationships and press activities in Thailand and international markets; leverage award stories in brand communication. • Own crisis communication: monitor reviews and social sentiment, define the response protocol, and act as spokesperson coordinator when issues arise. Agency management • Control and manage external creative/media/BTL agencies where used; ensure output aligns with brand guidelines and evaluate agency performance after each campaign. 6. Market research & analysis • Identify research needs per market and brief research where required (consumer tastings, brand health checks, market-entry studies for International Market • Translate research findings into actionable brand plans, product development input, and communication direction.
