AVP, Transaction Monitoring Division (AML Centre)

Responsibilities: Perform post-transaction monitoring and provide support and advice to TM team members Identify suspicious transactions or activities and prepare STR to mitigate the risks on AML/CFT, Fraud or Financial Crime Handle AML related inquiries from regulatory authorities and professional firms Conduct AML system enhancement, control, maintenance, review and fine-tuning to ensure the current post-transaction monitoring system is effect Provide advice on AML related compliance and regulatory aspects applicable to the Bank Conduct regular review and update the latest changes to the Bank’s policies and procedures in respect of the revision of related ordinances, rules and regulations Undertake ad-hoc tasks assigned by TM Division Head Requirements: Degree holder in Banking, Accounting, Economics, Law or related disciplines Minimum 8 years banking experience with solid knowledge of AML/CFT statutory and regulatory requirements Preferably with exposure in commercial/ retail banking/ financial institutions/ audit firms Holder of Associate AML Professional (AAMLP) or Certified AML Professional (CAMLP) Independent, Self-motivated, analytical and able to work under pressure Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is a must Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese A good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills Candidate with less experience will be considered as junior position
