Job Summary Responsible for overseeing procurement activities for batteries and tyres, including supplier sourcing, price negotiation, purchasing coordination, and inventory control. The role requires sound knowledge of trading terms and procurement procedures, with the ability to develop new supplier networks and maintain effective supply arrangements. Key Responsibilities • Handle full spectrum of purchasing functions for batteries, tyres, and related products. • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms. • Source, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to support business growth and strengthen supply stability. • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper stock planning and replenishment. • Prepare purchase orders, follow up on order status, and ensure timely delivery of goods. • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, and cost comparison reports. • Work closely with sales, warehouse, and management teams on demand planning and purchasing strategy. • Travel overseas for supplier visits or business meetings when required, approximately 1–2 times per year. Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for the Assistant Trade Manager position. Requirements • Diploma or above in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines. • Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in tyres, batteries, automotive parts, or trading business. • Familiar with trading terms, procurement procedures, supplier negotiation, and inventory control. • Proven experience in cost negotiation and new supplier sourcing. • Detail-minded with strong organizational and communication skills. • Good command of English, Chinese, and Mandarin is preferred. • Willing to travel overseas occasionally for business purposes.
