Early Years Mandarin Teacher (Part Time)

About the role We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Mandarin Teacher to join the CIC Group of Companies in Tangerang Regency, Banten. This is a part-time position that plays a vital role in introducing young learners to the Mandarin language and Chinese culture during their formative years. As an Early Years Mandarin Teacher, you will create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that foster a love of language learning whilst supporting the developmental needs of children in the early years education setting. This position is essential to our commitment to providing comprehensive language education that prepares children for a multilingual world. Key responsibilities Plan and deliver interactive Mandarin language lessons tailored to the developmental stages of early years learners Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence in language acquisition Incorporate cultural elements, songs, games, and storytelling to make Mandarin learning engaging and memorable for young children Use play-based learning approaches to teach basic vocabulary, phonics, and simple conversational phrases Assess children's progress in language development and communicate observations to parents and fellow educators Collaborate with other staff members to integrate Mandarin language learning across the curriculum Maintain accurate records of children's learning and development in line with early years educational frameworks Support children's emotional and social development whilst fostering a positive attitude towards language learning What we're looking for Native or fluent Mandarin speaker with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Formal qualification or recognised certification in Early Childhood Education or Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL/TESOL) Proven experience teaching Mandarin or another language to young children in an educational setting Strong knowledge of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment Patience, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm for working with young learners Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and guardians What we offer The CIC Group of Companies values the contribution of all team members and offers a supportive and collaborative working environment.
