Commercial Electrician - Refridge

We're working with a well-established Christchurch electrical contractor who has built a strong reputation across the commercial and refrigeration space. With a growing pipeline of work and projects taking the team across the South Island and into the North Island, they're looking for a Registered Electrician who wants variety, good money and the chance to work on some pretty interesting jobs. This is a small, tight-knit crew where you're not just another number. You'll be trusted to get on with the job, given plenty of variety and looked after by an owner/operator who is genuinely connected to the team. One week you could be working locally in Christchurch, the next you could be heading away for a project in the South Island or North Island. It's a role that will keep you on your toes and give you exposure to a broad range of work rather than having you stuck doing the same thing every day. You'll need to be confident working independently, running your own jobs and taking ownership from start to finish. There is also the opportunity to supervise apprentices, so we're looking for someone who is happy to take a bit of responsibility and help keep the job moving. This is balanced by a very supportive senior leadership team. Travel is a genuine part of the role, but it's also one of the perks. When you're required to work away, your accommodation is sorted, an away allowance is paid for each night you're out of town and overtime is available. The business is conscious of not sending the same person away constantly, so there's scope for a good balance between local and travel work. What we are looking for: NZ Registered Electrician with a current Practising Licence Solid commercial experience. Refrigeration exposure is a bonus!
