Surveyor - Infrastructure

This highly successful and trusted Tier 3 Civil Contractor continues to grow and is seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join their Victorian team. With a major VIDA road project now underway in the Geelong region — and additional civil infrastructure works progressing — the business is looking to strengthen its surveying capability for long‑term delivery. Role Overview Based primarily on a major road project in Geelong, you will also support other civil infrastructure works as required. Core responsibilities include: Set‑out for roads, services, concrete, structures, utility relocations and drainage Feature, boundary & topographical surveys Establishment, maintenance and collaboration of control points Accurate recording, mapping and reporting of survey data for project use Ensuring all collected data meets legal, regulatory and QA standards Close collaboration with engineers and project teams to provide reliable spatial data Technical advice to support planning, sequencing and problem‑solving Management and maintenance of survey equipment to ensure accuracy and functionality Candidate Background To be successful in this role, you will bring: Minimum 5+ years’ experience on major roads or civil infrastructure projects Degree in Surveying, Geospatial Science, Civil Engineering , or related field Registration as a Licensed Surveyor (or eligibility) Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Trimble Business Centre or similar Strong capability with total stations, GPS systems, laser scanning Understanding of land law, mapping standards and survey compliance Current Driver’s Licence Construction Induction Card (White Card) Apply For further information, please contact Leigh Rowbottom at Talent Associates on 1300 363 445 , or click Apply Now to submit your application.
