IT / MIS EXECUTIVE / ASSIST MANAGER (NON HALAL FOOD INDUSTRY)

About the role De Luxe Circle (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced IT / MIS Executive / Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in Skudai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting and advancing our information technology infrastructure and management information systems across our non-halal food industry operations. As IT / MIS Executive / Assistant Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring our technology systems operate at peak efficiency, supporting business continuity, and driving digital transformation initiatives that enhance our operational capabilities and competitive advantage. Key responsibilities Oversee the daily management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime Support the development, implementation, and management of management information systems (MIS) that provide critical business insights and reporting capabilities Provide technical support and guidance to end-users across the organisation, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a timely manner Manage IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and technology initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget Conduct regular system audits and performance monitoring to identify areas for improvement and optimise IT resources Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices Collaborate with various departments to understand their technology needs and provide strategic recommendations for solutions Manage IT budgets and procurement processes for hardware, software, and services Lead and mentor junior IT staff members, providing training and professional development opportunities Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems from threats What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field Minimum 2-5 years of experience in IT management or MIS roles, ideally within manufacturing industry Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and enterprise systems Strong understanding of management information systems and business intelligence tools Experience with system administration, network management, and cybersecurity practices Proficiency in relevant IT tools, software, and programming languages commonly used in industry operations Demonstrated project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across all organisational levels Leadership experience with a proven track record of mentoring and developing team members Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks Relevant IT certifications (such as ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft Certified, or equivalent) are highly desirable Familiarity with non-halal food industry operations is an advantage Able to work in non-halal food industry located in Taman Tan Sri Yaacob, Skudai, Johor Process own transport
