Computer Operator (Fresh IT Degree graduates may apply)

Job Responsibilities • Proper execution of daily jobs, instructions as stated in the daily job sheets and DC Job Request form or other tasks under the supervision of Shift Leader • Be aware of Data Center’s (DC) commitment to service availability to end-users. • Proper execution of daily jobs, instructions as stated in the daily job sheets and DC Job Request form • Perform report distribution according to Report Distribution assigned in the system • As directed by Shift Leader, raise incident logs immediately and communicate via the prescribed escalation list. Follow through with the respective support team for timely resolution of production incidents. • Perform command center monitoring and escalation such as Sitescope, Solarwind etc • Maintain overall cleanliness of DC • Punctuality in attendance to avoid impacting shift operations • To handle any other duties as assigned by the SE or Head of DC from times to times Job Requirements • Degree in Information Technology or its equivalent • Fresh Degree graduates may apply • The need to work within the DC scope to support the shift operations • Good communication skills to relate to the respective team on incident handling and follow through process. • Familiarity with Bank’s policies and procedures. • Shift Operations knowledge. • Regulatory requirements in relation to data transmission as defined in the shift operations • IT Governance. • Exposed to various operating systems, eg. OS400, HP-UX, SUN Solaris, Windows series. • 1 year experience as Operator in DC shift operations • Good judgment and prompt problem solving.
