Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist – Junior & Senior About Us Primitive Technology Sdn. Bhd. is a technology company focused on developing and supporting digital products and software solutions. As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our Quality Assurance team and looking for Junior and Senior QA Specialists to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about software quality, enjoy problem-solving, and are committed to delivering reliable and high-quality products. About the Role As a QA Specialist , you will play an important role in ensuring the quality, stability, functionality, and reliability of our digital products. You will work closely with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing tests, identifying and reporting defects, verifying fixes, and helping the team deliver high-quality products. We are hiring for both Junior QA and Senior QA positions, with responsibilities and expectations based on your level of experience. Key Responsibilities Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Review product requirements and specifications to identify potential issues and gaps. Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans. Identify, document, and track software defects clearly and accurately. Re-test reported issues and verify bug fixes. Conduct regression testing before product releases. Work closely with developers and product teams to investigate and resolve issues. Ensure products meet functional requirements and quality standards. Participate in the full software development and testing lifecycle. Provide clear feedback regarding product quality, potential risks, and improvements. Maintain accurate QA documentation and testing records. Contribute to improving QA processes, testing methodologies, and overall product quality. Junior QA – Requirements No prior QA or software testing experience is required. Fresh graduates and candidates who are new to QA are welcome to apply. The company will provide training and guidance to help you develop the necessary QA skills. Basic understanding of software or technology concepts is an advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and develop QA and technical skills. Senior QA – Requirements 2+ years of experience in software QA or software testing. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC. Proven experience preparing test plans, test cases, and testing strategies. Strong experience in functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing. Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify potential product risks and recommend practical solutions. Experience working closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams. Able to manage QA activities and testing priorities independently. Strong ownership and accountability for product quality. Experience mentoring or guiding junior QA team members is an advantage. Automation testing experience is an advantage.
