IT Project Manager (Manager - Assistant Vice President)

Key responsibilities Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in consultation with key stakeholders and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets whilst identifying resource requirements and potential risks Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, motivation, and support to ensure successful project delivery Monitor project progress against established baselines, tracking key performance indicators and identifying areas for improvement Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as required Communicate project status regularly to senior management and stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetings Ensure quality assurance throughout the project, conducting testing and validation to meet defined acceptance criteria Oversee budget management, cost control, and resource allocation to optimise project profitability Facilitate post-project reviews and document lessons learned to enhance future project delivery Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to the organization What we're looking for Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile (Scrum Master), or equivalent preferred. Work Experience 8 to 10+ years of IT professional experience Over 5 years of experience in IT project management. Proven experience managing medium to large-scale IT projects. Experience in Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid methodologies. Experience in Software system implementation, Digital transformation, or Infrastructure projects. Experience in Financial services, Banking, or Enterprise systems is an advantage.
