Join our New Zealand customer experience team to support a proven precision agricultural solution to farmers, growers and ag contractors. At the core of our offer is a class-leading operational management solution, modernising agricultural work for both landowners and contractors. We provide full real-time visibility of a whole array of day-to-day operations, from fertiliser spreading and spraying to k-line management, orchard mowing and general tasks around the property. The system automatically stores detailed data which you can refer back to any time to prove compliance and drive efficiency and productivity gains. And importantly, over time this data becomes a knowledge bank for landowners that will endure through generations, protecting and growing the value of their land. Tabula (formerly TracMap) is New Zealand's most trusted precision agricultural system. We have grown to be one of the largest agricultural technology companies in the country, with our GPS systems used across trucks, tractors, bikes, travelling irrigators, helicopters, and fixed-wing planes throughout New Zealand. We are a well-established local business, with offices in Dunedin and Hastings and growing our presence in Australia, the USA, UK and South America. About the Role This is not a support queue role. As a Customer Success Specialist at Tabula, you’ll operate as a strategic partner to our customers – farmers, growers, and ag contractors who rely on our technology to run their operations every day. You’ll own the full post-sale customer relationship for our largest customers: from onboarding new customers and driving product adoption, to running business reviews and showing up on-site when it matters. You’ll work alongside Sales and the Support team, and you’ll often be the most important person in a customer’s Tabula experience. The role is based in Mosgiel (Dunedin) with potential considerations for Hastings as well, and involves periodic travel across New Zealand to visit customers on farms, orchards, and work sites. If you’re someone who thrives on variety, genuinely enjoys getting out from behind a desk, and finds satisfaction in helping real businesses succeed with technology – this is a role worth considering. What You’ll Do Own the onboarding lifecycle – ensuring new customers get up and running smoothly and confidently from day one. Travel to customer sites to build face-to-face relationships, manage complex needs, and conduct in-person onboarding where it counts. Conduct proactive health checks and strategic business reviews to identify growth opportunities and lock in long-term retention. Host live webinars and deliver on-site training tailored to specific product adoption goals. Manage customer participation in pilot and beta programmes, turning early adopters into advocates. Use HubSpot to track feature adoption and document customer goals, so nothing falls through the cracks. Partner with Sales to act as a strategic advisor – focused on business outcomes, not ticket resolution. Spot early warning signs in customer health data and implement solutions before problems escalate. Create internal and external documentation that genuinely improves the user experience. Step in to support the wider team during critical moments when the team needs you. What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who combines technical curiosity with strong relationship skills and real commercial awareness. Specifically: Experience in a senior Customer Success, Account Management, Customer Support, or Technical Consulting role. A background in or genuine affinity for agriculture, hardware, electronics, or automotive industries – you understand how the people we serve think and work. Comfort with complex technical products – you don’t need to be an engineer, but you need to be able to explain how hardware and software work together in plain language. Strong business acumen – you can hold a conversation about a customer’s operational goals, not just their technical problems. Confident presentation and facilitation skills – you can run a webinar or an on-farm training session and hold the room. A proactive mindset – you act on signals before customers raise issues, not after. Willingness to travel periodically across NZ for on-site visits (a current NZ driver’s licence is required). What’s on Offer Competitive salary – we’re open about what the role is worth; include your expectations when you apply. A product you can be genuinely proud of – one that makes a real difference to the people who feed New Zealand. Variety that’s hard to find elsewhere – office, on-site, webinar, training, strategy, and everything in between. A strong, tight-knit national team that’s collaborative. The stability of an established company with the energy and pace of a business still in growth mode. Dunedin lifestyle – if you’re not already based here, it’s genuinely worth considering. World-class nature, a vibrant city, and no Auckland traffic. To apply, please send your cover letter and CV by pushing the apply button. Tell us about a customer relationship you’re proud of, and what you did to make it great. We’ll keep the ad open until we find the right person. For those overseas who may be interested, only applicants that are legally entitled to work full-time in New Zealand and can be available for interviews in person in a reasonable timeframe will be considered for this position. Other applications may not necessarily be responded to.
