Computer IT Technician

Job brief We are looking for a qualified Computer Technician to install, maintain and repair computers, networks and printers. As a computer technician you must be well-versed in computer systems and network functions. The ideal candidate will be able to work diligently and accurately and will possess a great problem-solving ability in order to fix issues and ensure functionality. The goal is to install and maintain high quality networks and computer systems. Job Descriptions: Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners. Set Up hardware, install and configure software and drivers. Maintaining and repairing equipment such as laptop, pc and printers. Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy protection from attacks. Perform regular upgrades to ensure systems remain updated. Troubleshoot system failure or bugs and provide solutions for restore functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and networking problems. Provide client support and technical issue resolution. Configure software to connect to Internet application servers. Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests. Requirements Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably Junior Executive specialized in IT/Computer - Hardware or equivalent. Proven experience as computer technician or similar role. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Very good communication abilities. Good knowledge of computer systems, IT components and printers. Able to work with other team members. Able to speak in a friendly way to customers.
