A3 Building Certifier

About the Role An established private building certification consultancy is seeking an A3 Building Certifier to join their Brisbane office, located in the inner northern suburbs. This is an office-based role focused on assessment, compliance, and certification support across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with senior certifiers, designers, builders, and local authorities to ensure applications and approvals meet legislative and regulatory requirements Key Responsibilities Assess building approval applications in accordance with the NCC, QDC, and relevant legislation Review plans, documentation, and technical reports for compliance Issue development approvals, building permits, and associated certification documentation Liaise with builders, designers, consultants, and councils regarding compliance matters Provide technical advice and certification support under supervision of senior certifiers Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with statutory requirements Support inspection scheduling and certification processes as required Skills, Experience & Qualifications Current A3 Building Certifier accreditation (QLD) Sound knowledge of the NCC, QDC, and Queensland building legislation Experience assessing residential and/or commercial projects Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work collaboratively in an office-based team environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and certification systems What’s on Offer Stable, in-office role based in Inner North Brisbane Supportive team environment with structured guidance from senior certifiers Exposure to a broad range of projects Long-term career development within private certification The Company This professional national private building certification consultancy delivers certification and compliance services across residential and commercial projects.
