Payroll and HR Admin

The Opportunity: We are seeking a strong and efficient administrator to assist our Human Resources team in delivering great people outcomes. You will provide administrative and payroll expertise, working closely with the team to provide an excellent level of support and assistance across the organisation. As the owner of our payroll, your expertise will ensure all our people are paid accurately and on time – every time! The role requires an experienced, highly organised administrator preferably with a background in HR, who has a great eye for detail, effective time management, excellent computer skills, discretion and a fantastic way with people. This is a full-time office-based role, in Mt Wellington with free on-site parking. Key responsibilities include: Payroll processing and administration Reporting, including end of month reports for Finance and Operations and HR General HR and Recruitment administration support Assisting with HR Projects and continuous improvement initiatives The Ideal Candidate: We’re looking for someone who has: Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration Sound understanding of NZ Employment and payroll legislation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Accuracy, strong attention to detail and task completion focus Demonstrates a high level of initiative, drive and a passion for People Proficiency in MS Office and HR/Payroll systems (preferably Datacom) This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the company payroll whilst also having variety in your work.
