Livestock Hand - Sheep and Cattle Farm Location: Uralla NSW About Us: Wilson’s Creek Pastoral Company is a family-owned sheep and cattle enterprise nestled in the picturesque New England region of NSW currently joining 3500 Merino and Crossbred Ewes and 120 cows. We have a commitment to breeding high quality livestock beginning with our Merino & White Suffolk Sheep Studs. As part of our dedicated team, you'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contribution directly impacts our success. Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and reliable Livestock Hand to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the daily care and management of our livestock. Your responsibilities will include: Feeding and watering livestock according to schedules and dietary requirements, this includes seasonal operation of our lamb feedlot. Monitoring animal health and conducting routine animal treatments in our modern livestock facilities. Mustering, classing, drafting, and movement of sheep and cattle operating ATV & UTV's. Conducting routine health checks, vaccinations, and treatments as directed. Data Collection of Sheep at different life stages. Assisting with general farm duties as needed, such as fencing, pasture management, and machinery maintenance. Requirements: Previous experience working with livestock and working dogs essential. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning and development. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
