Dozer & Grader Operators – Calvale to Calliope, CQ Local Operators Preferred | 15/6 Roster | Long-Term Project | Immediate Starts Available VE Group is looking for experienced Dozer and Grader Operators to join our project team working across the Calvale to Calliope area in Central Queensland . We are seeking experienced operators who are locally based within Gladstone region and available to work a 15 days on / 6 days off roster . This is a great opportunity for reliable, safety-focused operators looking for consistent, long-term work on a major civil infrastructure project. Key responsibilities include: Operating dozers and/or graders safely and efficiently Bulk earthworks, trimming and general civil works Completing daily pre-starts and equipment inspections Working closely with supervisors, surveyors and other plant operators Following all project, safety, environmental and operational requirements Maintaining a high standard of care for plant and equipment Contributing to a productive and professional site team About You To be successful, you will have: Current relevant RII competency or recognised VOC for the plant you operate Proven experience operating dozers and/or graders Civil construction, bulk earthworks or infrastructure project experience Experience working accurately to levels and specifications Availability to work a 15/6 roster Ability to undertake Drive In Drive Out work within Central Queensland Strong commitment to safety and site procedures Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude Reliability, punctuality and pride in your work Current driver’s licence Experience with GPS and machine control systems will be highly regarded. Preference will be given to operators who are based in Gladstone, Biloela, Calliope or surrounding Central Queensland areas and can readily travel to the project.
