Engineering Surveyor - Perth $50-65ph + Vehicle / OT / Vehicle / Equipment Perth Metro areas mainly Infrastructure work / Roads, Rail, Energy Planned Resources is currently searching for an experienced engineering surveyor to join our client, a well-established survey firm with a glowing reputation across Australia. As an Experienced Engineering Surveyor at our client’s firm, you'll be a key member of our dynamic team, bringing your expertise and insights to bear on a diverse range of engineering survey projects. With a minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering surveying, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the success and accuracy of our projects, from inception to completion. About the Engineering Surveyor Role Executing engineering survey projects with precision and efficiency. Conducting field surveys using advanced equipment and technology. Providing expert guidance and support to junior surveying staff. Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met. Analysing survey data and preparing detailed reports and documentation. Completing your own data processing/reductions. Engineering Surveyor Skills and Experience Minimum of 4 years' experience in engineering surveying, preferably in a regional setting. Degree or diploma in surveying, geomatics, or related field. Proficiency with surveying software and equipment. Strong technical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
