Lead frontline security operations across Wellington as a Senior Security Supervisor with Armourguard Security. For more than 80 years Armourguard Security has been protecting New Zealand communities and is one of the country’s most experienced and trusted security providers. With more than 1,000 staff across 14 branches nationwide, our teams protect commercial sites, infrastructure, and public spaces across Aotearoa. Armourguard Security is seeking an experienced Senior Security Supervisor to support frontline security operations across the Wellington region. This is a working leadership role , suited to an experienced security professional who can lead teams, respond to incidents, and maintain high operational standards while supporting the development of other officers. About the Role As Senior Security Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of security operations across the Wellington region. Working closely with the Operations Controller , you will support frontline officers, respond to incidents, and ensure operational standards are consistently maintained across patrol and guarding teams. You will act as the escalation point for operational issues and help ensure our teams deliver reliable, professional security services to clients across the region. Key responsibilities include: · Leading and supporting Security Officers on shift · Responding to incidents and operational issues across client sites · Ensuring procedures, reporting, and compliance standards are maintained · Coaching and mentoring officers to improve performance and professionalism · Maintaining strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders · Completing accurate operational reports and documentation · Leading by example in professionalism, reliability, and service delivery This role requires someone who is confident making decisions, comfortable supporting staff in challenging situations, and committed to maintaining high operational standards. The Role · 36–48 hours per week across a combination of day and night shifts · Operational supervision across multiple Wellington sites · Field-based leadership supporting patrol and guarding teams · Confidence working around aggressive dogs may be required as part of patrol and site duties · Patrol vehicle operation required (manual driving capability preferred) Who This Role Suits This role suits experienced security professionals who enjoy leading from the front and supporting their teams in operational environments.
