Key Responsibilities Reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to carry out a wide range of carpentry tasks on civil construction sites. Constructing formwork, boxing, beams, walls, stairs, and other structural elements for bridges and civil infrastructure projects. Working with concrete, ensuring high-quality finishes and actively participating in concrete pours and related tasks. Operating power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision and care. Collaborating with engineers and site supervisors to ensure work is completed on time and in accordance with project requirements. Requirements Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Carpenter, specializing in formwork and concrete structures. Proven experience working on bridges, roads, and large-scale civil construction projects. Strong knowledge of formwork, boxing, concrete structures, beams, stair construction, and high-quality finishing work. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour in a variety of weather conditions. Benefits Competitive hourly rate of $28-$35 per hour. Opportunities available across the South Island.
