About the role | Mō te tūranga This is a role where people and detail come together. You’ll spend your days supporting customers through important life decisions — helping them put Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney in place, and making sure they clearly understand their options. No two days are the same. One moment you’ll be having a thoughtful conversation with a customer, the next you’ll be working behind the scenes to ensure everything is documented correctly and completed to a high standard. You’ll manage your own pipeline of work, balancing customer care with performance targets. It’s a role that requires focus, organisation, and the ability to keep multiple tasks moving at once. You’ll work independently, taking ownership of your workload and making sure every interaction and outcome is handled with care, accuracy, and professionalism. In this role, you will: Lead Wills and EPA conversations, guiding customers in a clear and empathetic way Manage a busy pipeline of work, balancing customer needs with performance targets Prepare accurate documentation and follow structured processes to ensure quality and compliance This is a part-time role, 32 hours per week - In the Kapiti customer centre About you | Ngā kōrero mōu If you enjoy working with people and naturally build trust through clear, honest conversations, you’ll feel at home in this role. It suits someone who can take complex information and explain it simply, helping customers feel informed, comfortable, and supported. Many people in this role have developed their skills in customer-facing, target-driven environments, where delivering great service and achieving results go hand in hand — and are motivated by working towards clear financial and performance goals. You might be someone who enjoys structure and takes pride in working in a methodical way — paying attention to detail, following processes, and getting things right the first time. It’s likely you’re used to managing a busy workload, balancing multiple customers and tasks, and knowing how to prioritise to keep things moving without becoming overwhelmed. A calm, thoughtful communication style goes a long way here — especially when conversations require care, empathy, and sensitivity. You’ll also be part of a wider team that provides legal and accounting support to families, often during emotionally significant times, which brings an added sense of purpose and meaning to the work. At its core, this role is a great fit for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, is motivated by achieving strong results, and wants to do meaningful work that makes a real difference.
