Animal Control Officer - Casual

Casual Employment Opportunity We are seeking someone with a passion for animals and the ability to engage with the community to join us on a casual basis. If you are someone who enjoys working with animals and people and would like the opportunity to pick up some work as we require (covering leave, training etc) this could be the opportunity for you. Ensuring customer requests are delt promptly with and ensuring compliance is adhered too in this role everyday can be different. The one thing that doesn't change is the supportive team environment around you. He kōrero mōu - About you You will have: Experience handling a variety of animals. Physical ability and courage, to conduct the animal control duties. Ability to remain calm and considerate in stressful situations. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team demonstrating energy, vision and initiative. Excellent Customer Service skills. Experience within or working with a regulatory or local government entity is a plus but not necessary.
