Junior Site Foreman / Carpenter | Commercial & Industrial | Rochedale About Us We are a Brisbane-based commercial and industrial builder-developer with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality developments across South East Queensland. We self-perform our core trades — concrete, formwork, reinforcement and earthworks — and pride ourselves on doing things properly, on time and to a high standard. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects based in the Rochedale area , now is an exciting time to join our growing team. About the Role We are seeking a motivated Junior Site Foreman / Carpenter to join our team on-site in Rochedale. Working closely alongside our Project Manager , you will transition from "hands-on" trade work into a supervisory role. This is a hands-on leadership role — and a genuine career development opportunity — suited to an ambitious carpenter who is ready to step up, assist in running a commercial site, and lead our self-perform crew with the direct mentorship of an experienced Project Manager. Key Responsibilities Site Supervision: Work under the supervision of the Director and Project Manager to coordinate day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, and material deliveries. Crew Leadership: Lead and work alongside our self-perform crew (concreters, formworkers, and steel fixers). Carpentry & Formwork: Perform and oversee carpentry and formwork activities on-site to a high standard. Safety & Compliance: Assist in enforcing site safety, conducting site inductions, holding daily toolbox talks, and maintaining strict WHS compliance. Project Support: Help the Project Manager track schedules, maintain site diaries, read drawings, and identify design conflicts early. Requirements Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Carpentry Industry Experience: 2–3 years of experience on Australian commercial or industrial building sites. Hands-on Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of formwork, concrete, and structural construction. Certifications: Current White Card and valid Queensland driver’s licence. (Forklift/EWP licences are desirable). Leadership Potential: Strong communication skills and the confidence to direct subcontractors and work closely with management. What We Offer Competitive Package: $90,000 – $120,000 + Superannuation (negotiable/commensurate with experience), or contract through an ABN. Tools of the Trade: Work phone/tablet.
