Key Responsibilities: · Revamp health underwriting guidelines to improve competitiveness, risk accuracy, and customer experience. · Support with health development · Analyze health insurance applications, medical histories, and demographic data to assess risk and determine appropriate coverage and premium levels. · Collaborate with actuarial, product development, and compliance teams to align underwriting practices with business goals and regulatory standards. · Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging health risks to inform guideline updates. · Develop and implement data-driven underwriting models and decision-support tools. · Ensure underwriting decisions are consistent, fair, and compliant with internal policies and external regulations. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, insurance business, or a related field. · Minimum 5 years of experience in health underwriting, with a proven track record of guideline development or strategic underwriting initiatives. · Strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare systems, and insurance regulations. · Proficiency in statistical analysis and underwriting software tools. · Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills. · Ability to lead change and drive innovation in a collaborative environment.
