Senior Manager-Enterprise Architect

Key Responsibilities: • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify, frame, and clarify business problems before proposing solutions. • Listen deeply to user pain points, operational constraints, process gaps, and underlying root causes. • Develop and compare 2-3 feasible solution options and explain trade-offs clearly. • Facilitate brainstorming and structured solution discussions with stakeholders across business and IT. • Ensure proposed solutions are practical, scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards and target-state direction. • Evaluate enterprise-wide impact, including dependencies, integration implications, and effects on adjacent teams. • Lead local architecture governance reviews for all initiative proposals • Review architecture proposals, identify risks, challenge assumptions, and improve solution quality before final approval stages. • Work closely with Group Enterprise Architecture on standards, patterns, and architectural guardrails. • Document architecture recommendations, exceptions, decisions, and rationale clearly. • Shape architecture direction across multiple initiatives, domains, or platforms where enterprise-level judgment is required. • Mentor delivery teams in structured problem framing, trade-off analysis, and governance readiness. • Raise the consistency and quality of architecture decisions across the organization. • Influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional leaders without relying on formal authority. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. • Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or a closely related role. • Experience in a large enterprise environment with formal architecture governance, standards, and cross-functional delivery teams in insurance industry or another highly regulated industry such as banking or financial services. • Strong ability to translate business needs and pain points into technology options and solution recommendations. • Familiarity with insurance domains such as policy, claims, underwriting, distribution, billing, customer service, or core platform modernization.
