Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Commercial Leadership & Revenue Growth Formulate and execute the corporate sales and marketing roadmap aligned with long-term company objectives. Establish annual, quarterly, and channel-specific sales targets, revenue projections, and profitability goals. Monitor channel P&L, gross margins, and overall commercial viability; drive actionable contingency plans for performance gaps. Identify white space, emerging market trends, and strategic business opportunities to scale operations. 2. Omnichannel Strategy & Key Account Management Oversee commercial strategies across all channels: Modern Trade (MT), Traditional Trade (GT), Food Service, HoReCa, B2B, and E-Commerce / Digital Marketplaces. Build, nurture, and maintain high-level strategic partnerships with key commercial clients, distributors, and retail partners. Lead high-stakes commercial negotiations, contract terms, and joint business planning (JBP). 3. Integrated Marketing, Brand & Trade Strategy Align sales execution with brand building, trade marketing, and promotional strategies to drive both brand equity and sell-through. Oversee consumer insights, market research, and competitive intelligence to sharpen brand positioning and promotional efficacy. Ensure optimal allocation and calculation of Trade Spend, Promotion ROI, and Marketing ROI across channels. 4. New Product Development (NPD) & Business Expansion Partner with cross-functional executive teams (R&D, QA, Operations, Purchasing, Finance) to spearhead new product launch strategies. Define go-to-market (GTM) frameworks, value propositions, pricing strategies, and target segments for new commercial offerings. Evaluate post-launch performance metrics to maximize long-term product lifecycles. 5. Executive Financial & Budget Management Develop, manage, and optimize the overall Sales & Marketing budget. Oversee commercial expenditure, trade spend efficiency, commission structures, and marketing allocations. Ensure strict fiscal discipline and cost controls while maximizing top-line and bottom-line performance. 6. Team Transformation & Organizational Development Structure, empower, and mentor the unified Sales & Marketing department. Set high-impact KPIs, conduct performance appraisals, and foster a performance-driven, data-led, and collaborative culture. Identify key talent, succession plans, and leadership development programs within the department. 7. Executive Reporting & Board Interactions Present monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance summaries, market dynamics, and strategic initiatives to the CEO and Board of Directors. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Master’s degree / MBA strongly preferred) in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Experience: 10–15+ years of progressive commercial experience in Sales & Marketing. At least 5+ years in a Director, Head of Department, or Senior Managerial capacity. Strong preference for background in FMCG, Food & Beverage, Food Service, HoReCa, or Retail industries. Proven success managing both Sales and Marketing teams in unified commercial structures. Key Competencies: In-depth expertise in omnichannel distribution (MT, GT, Food Service, HoReCa, B2B, and E-Commerce). Exceptional financial acumen: P&L management, margin optimization, ROI modeling, and budget oversight. High-level executive presentation, strategic negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
