About the role We are seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Lawyer to join our esteemed legal team at our office in Khlong Toei, Bangkok. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to develop your litigation expertise whilst working on a diverse portfolio of cases. As a Litigation Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in representing clients in court proceedings, managing dispute resolution matters, and providing strategic legal advice on contentious issues. This position is integral to our firm's litigation practice and offers the opportunity to work on high-impact cases with significant commercial and legal implications. Key responsibilities Representing clients in civil, commercial, and administrative litigation matters before Thai courts at all levels Conducting thorough legal research and case analysis to develop effective litigation strategies Drafting and filing legal pleadings, motions, and other court documents with precision and attention to detail Preparing clients for trial, including case preparation, witness examination, and evidence presentation Negotiating settlements and alternative dispute resolution agreements on behalf of clients Advising clients on litigation risks, costs, and strategic options throughout dispute proceedings Managing case files, documentation, and deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements Collaborating with senior lawyers and other team members to provide comprehensive legal support Conducting legal consultations with clients to understand their objectives and concerns Maintaining professional client relationships and providing timely updates on case progress What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Law from an accredited institution Lawyer license in good standing Minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in litigation and dispute resolution Strong knowledge of Thai civil law, commercial law, and court procedures Excellent written and oral advocacy skills with fluency in English and Thai Proficiency in legal research, case analysis, and strategic thinking Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously whilst meeting strict deadlines Strong interpersonal and client communication skills Meticulous attention to detail and organisational abilities Professional integrity and commitment to ethical legal practice Experience in specific litigation areas such as commercial disputes, employment law, or construction law is advantageous Knowledge of international dispute resolution processes would be beneficial What we offer At Siam Legal (Thailand) Co., Ltd., we are committed to fostering a supportive and professionally rewarding work environment.
