Due to growth and expansion, we are looking for individuals who can truly follow our ethos of respect and love for our canine guests and our team. The job is extremely fun and rewarding- you will lead our dogs into having a fun and happy grooming & Daycare experience and playful time at our playground. Depending on the dynamic of the pack, sometimes stressful situation can occur- you must be able to control the dogs through love, respect and positive reinforcement. The role also involves a lot of extensive cleaning and being on your feet MOST of the day. So, it is best suited for someone who is fit and has lot of energy. 2 Princess Pet is seeking a reliable and knowledgeable Doggy Daycare attendants to join our team in Hawthorn location. On the job training will be provided however, previous experience in a busy Dog Daycare Centre as a MUST. THIS IS CURRENTLY OFFERED AS A CASUAL POSITION, WITH THE POTENTIAL TO TRANSITION TO PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE, BASED ON INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE, SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES. Duties and Responsibilities: Daycare duties including handling client enquiries professionally in person and over the phone General administration duties and associated tasks Proven experience within the pet care industry preferrable Exceptional time management Daily Cleaning Routine Monitoring and maintaining dogs’ welfare Reporting on health and behavioural problems Maintaining Daycare Security Exercising, feeding, administering medication, and other care tasks Other duties as directed by the supervisor Skills & Experience Candidate can speak fluent English as a MUST Previous experience in a busy Dog Daycare Centre as a MUST Able to handle all types of dogs including larger breed dogs Excellent customer service skills in the same industry preferrable Comfortable with computer system and phone application, familiar with using social media, filming and editing basic video, photos, content etc. A natural affinity towards dogs At least 1 years in an animal care role as a MUST A relevant qualification in animal care favorably
