Far East (Thai) Wood Industry Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Export Shipping professional to join our dynamic team in Chachoengsao. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in managing and coordinating our international export operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless movement of our wood products from Thailand to customers worldwide, handling all aspects of the export shipping process including documentation, logistics coordination, and compliance with international trade regulations. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for reliable delivery and customer satisfaction in the global marketplace. Key responsibilities Coordinate and manage export shipments from initiation through final delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of wood products Prepare and process all required export documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to arrange optimal shipping routes and modes of transport Monitor shipments in transit and provide regular updates to customers regarding delivery status and expected arrival times Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and export control regulations for all outbound shipments Manage shipping costs and negotiate freight rates with logistics providers to optimise company expenses Handle customer inquiries regarding shipment status, pricing, and delivery schedules with professionalism and efficiency Maintain detailed records of all export shipments and prepare reports on shipping activities and performance metrics Identify and resolve shipping issues, delays, or discrepancies to minimise disruption to operations Collaborate with sales, production, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate product specifications and timely shipment preparation What we're looking for Proven experience in export shipping, freight forwarding, or international logistics, preferably in the manufacturing or timber industry Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, documentation requirements, and customs regulations Proficiency with shipping software and logistics management systems Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing export documentation Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal, for communicating with international customers and partners Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade practices Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Professional communication skills and customer service orientation Familiarity with Thai customs procedures and export regulations is advantageous Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
