The Purchasing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring all branches are consistently supplied with the ingredients and operational materials required for smooth day-to-day operations. This role oversees the end-to-end purchasing process, including order placement, supplier coordination, cost control, inventory management, and sourcing solutions to prevent supply disruptions. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the procurement of ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies for all branches through existing suppliers. Monitor purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure goods are delivered accurately, on time, and in full. Proactively resolve supply shortages, delivery delays, and other procurement-related issues to minimize operational impact. Track purchasing expenses against budget targets and work with suppliers to address cost increases and identify cost-saving opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including negotiating commercial terms and sourcing alternative or backup suppliers when necessary. Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control systems and standardized stock counting procedures across branches. Collaborate closely with Branch Managers, Head Chefs, and relevant departments to confirm product specifications, quantities, and purchasing requirements. Support branch-level demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing waste. Prepare and present regular purchasing performance, supplier performance, and cost analysis reports to the Operations Manager. Participate in procurement improvement initiatives and other ad hoc projects to support business objectives. Key Success Metrics Supplier On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) Delivery Rate. Purchasing costs versus budget and overall cost trends. Order accuracy and reduction of stock-out incidents. Supplier performance and procurement efficiency. Inventory accuracy and stock management effectiveness. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within the food & beverage, hospitality, or restaurant industry. Strong negotiation, cost management, and supplier relationship management skills. Experience with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Fluent in Thai, with professional working proficiency in English. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple orders and supplier relationships simultaneously. Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to urgent operational requirements. Willingness to travel between branches and supplier locations as required.
