Administration & External Affairs Officer (Mandarin Translator/Speaking) Location: Morowali, Indonesia Department: General Affairs / Administration Headcount: 2 Position Overview The role aims to ensure smooth office operations, effective communication with external stakeholders, and efficient coordination between Chinese and Indonesian teams, supporting compliant and efficient project operations. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support Manage daily office operations, including office environment maintenance, office supply procurement, asset registration, and facility maintenance coordination. Establish and maintain administrative and HR documentation systems, ensuring proper filing and document accessibility. Arrange travel logistics such as flight bookings, accommodation, and transportation for employees and visiting personnel. Assist with business reception and meeting arrangements. Support administrative expense tracking, reimbursement documentation, and budget assistance. Handle visa applications, extensions, and cancellations for company employees working in Indonesia. External Affairs Coordination Assist with company administrative procedures in Indonesia, including company registration updates, license applications, and related documentation processes. Maintain communication and coordination with external partners such as law firms, consulting agencies, and notary offices. Support communication with government agencies when required. Assist the legal team in external communication during emergency or public affairs situations. Translation Support Provide written translation between Chinese and Indonesian for documents such as contracts, official correspondence, policies, and reports. Provide interpretation support during meetings, business negotiations, and internal training sessions. Facilitate communication and cultural understanding between Chinese and Indonesian employees. Maintain translation records and terminology databases to ensure consistency and professionalism. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree or above in Chinese Language, Business Administration, or related fields . Work Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience . Familiarity with visa regulations, and business procedures is preferred. Professional Certification For Indonesian candidates, minimum HSK Level 4 or above is preferred. Skills Fluent in Chinese Mandarin and Indonesian (English proficiency is a plus). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Core Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good teamwork and coordination ability. Responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented. Able to work in a multicultural environment. Strong execution ability and ability to work under pressure.
