Account Executive

About the role We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join XSD International Paper at our Kulim Kedah factory. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in the General Ledger accounting of our organisation. As GL Accountant, you will oversee financial record-keeping and accounting operations that support our business. Job Scope : · Prepare the general entries and maintain the monthly general ledger. · Prepare the full set of GL accounts reconciliation · In charge of the fixed assets accounting, i.e., acquisition, deprecation, transfer and disposal · Prepare the indirect tax such as SST filing. · Assisting with preparation of financial statement and analyzing the monthly financial results. · Coordinate and assist the internal and external audit process · Other duties as instructed. Requirements : · Degree in Accounting or relevant field · Excellent skill in Microsoft Office Excel · Strong ability to work independently under tight deadlines · Detailed and meticulous · Able to communicate effectively · Strong problem solving and analytical skills · Strong initiative to drive results · No less than 3 years’ solid working experiences in Finance and accounting field.
