Job Description: We are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Assistant Accounts Manager to support the Finance & Administration team in managing accounting operations, staff payroll, office administration and statutory compliance (including e-Invoicing). The candidate will assist the Head of Department in ensuring that all financial and administrative functions are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Assist in handling full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations. Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements Ensure accuracy and proper documentation for tax filings, and external audits. Process monthly payroll including overtime, allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB). Maintain accurate staff payroll records and assist in annual EA form preparation. Assist in the implementation and ongoing compliance with Malaysia’s e-Invoicing requirements. Ensure accurate issuance, tracking, and reporting of e-Invoices through the LHDN platform or integrated software. Oversee administrative matters such as utilities, office maintenance, insurance renewals, and license management. Maintain proper filing systems (physical and digital) for financial, HR, and project documents. Support the digitization and tracking of key company records for easy retrieval and reporting. Help in preparing summary reports, and internal memos. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Department. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, payroll, and office administration. Experience in the property development or construction sector is an advantage. Familiarity with accounting and payroll software (AutoCount and Million). Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities. High integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong Excel skills are essential. Good written and verbal communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
