About the role Working directly alongside our landscaping team, you'll support client installations across yards, courtyards and balcony and pot setups. Because we work in tight urban spaces, this is hands-on, physical work — think barrowing, shovelling and shifting rather than big machinery — with a good mix of planting and hardscaping along the way. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday with 8am starts. Key responsibilities Supporting client installations — yards, courtyards, balconies and pot setups Barrowing, shovelling, shifting and general site labour in tight spaces Hardscaping and paving work Planting garden beds and big pots Working safely as part of a team, following good landscaping practices Driving company vehicles between our base and client sites General yard support About you Some previous landscaping experience ideal — strength in planting or hardscaping is a plus, and both is a double plus You don't need extensive experience — we're after a solid all-rounder, with good personable skills and happy to learn Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour, including lifting heavy bags of potting mix and pots Comfortable working on ladders and balconies (heavy lifting is always done as a team) Equally happy to be working in a team and on your own A current, valid driver's licence — you'll be driving company vehicles (no trailers) A go-getter attitude and a willingness to grow with a small business taking over its niche About us City Botanics is a boutique landscape design studio specialising in transforming small urban spaces — balconies, courtyards, rooftops and compact yards — into lush, thriving green retreats.
