Demand Planning Associate

About the role Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited is seeking a Demand Planning Associate to join our dynamic planning team. This is a full-time position based in Huai Khwang, Bangkok. As a Demand Planning Associate, you will play a crucial role in forecasting product demand and optimising inventory levels across our retail and consumer goods operations. This position is integral to ensuring we meet customer demand efficiently whilst minimising excess stock, directly supporting the company's operational excellence and profitability objectives. Key responsibilities Analyse historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts for our product portfolio Collaborate with sales, marketing and supply chain teams to gather insights that inform planning decisions Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust demand plans based on performance metrics and business dynamics Support the development and maintenance of demand planning models and tools Prepare regular demand planning reports and presentations for stakeholders Identify and communicate potential demand variances and recommend mitigation strategies Assist in promotional planning and seasonal demand adjustments Support inventory optimisation initiatives to balance service levels with working capital efficiency What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field 1-3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, sales forecasting or related planning functions Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with demand planning software or systems Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to cross-functional teams Understanding of retail and consumer goods supply chain dynamics Detail-oriented approach with strong organisational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities Problem-solving mindset with the ability to recommend practical solutions What we offer At Charoen Pokphand Foods, we are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace where our employees can thrive professionally and personally.
