Jewelry Designer & Production Coordinator

Jewelry Designer & Production Coordinator Social Diamond is a fine jewelry brand operating across Bangkok and Singapore. We're looking for an experienced designer who wants to stay with a piece past the sketch, through production, all the way to the finished product. Most design roles hand you a brief and take the piece away. This one doesn't. You'll design it, spec it, work with the production team while it's being made, and check it yourself when it comes back. Collections and bespoke client commissions, both. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, not a management position, and you'll work directly with the founder and with sales and production. Design & Product Development Design jewelry from brief through to production-ready pieces, for both collections and bespoke client commissions Contribute to trend research and concept development with the marketing team and management Create 2D sketches and build mood boards that define each collection's aesthetic direction Produce 3D CAD files and/or write clear, detailed briefs for CAD designers, and review returned files against spec Carry product development through to manufacturing handoff, flagging feasibility issues early Production Coordination & Quality Control Work alongside the production team through manufacturing and resolve issues as they arise Develop and refine mechanisms (clasps, hinges, convertible settings) and adjust designs where production reveals a flaw or constraint Perform QC on finished pieces, checking setting security, finishing, symmetry, and stone quality against the approved design Track production timelines and keep pieces moving to schedule Work fluently across the manufacturing process, from casting through to final polish Cross-Functional Coordination Bridge sales and production, translating client requirements into clear production instructions Communicate timelines, feasibility, and cost implications to the sales team so client expectations are set correctly Keep design and production records organized and accessible to the wider team Research & Innovation Source fresh inspiration and translate it into commercially viable design directions Run R&D on materials, construction, and finishing Research and introduce new setting techniques and manufacturing methods Stay current on industry technology, craftsmanship trends, and emerging styles Requirements 3 or more years of experience in jewelry design (fine jewelry an advantage) Working CAD skills (Rhino/Matrix or equivalent), or the ability to brief and review CAD work accurately Proficiency in design software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent Strong 2D sketching and a confident visual/aesthetic sense Solid understanding of jewelry production processes and constraints Basic knowledge of diamonds and colored gemstones Strong eye for detail, with the ability to QC finished work Clear communicator, comfortable coordinating across sales and production Self-directed and able to run several pieces at once Nice to Have Interest in or exposure to gemstone sourcing. Not required, we'll teach the rest Experience with custom/bespoke design Familiarity with both Thai and international markets นักออกแบบเครื่องประดับและประสานงานผลิต หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ ออกแบบเครื่องประดับ Collection ต่างๆ หรืองานลูกค้าตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย และสอดคล้องกับเทรนด์ปัจจุบัน ค้นหา Inspiration ใหม่ๆ เพื่อนำมาพัฒนาเป็นงานออกแบบ สามารถใช้โปรแกรม AI (Illustrator), PS (Photoshop) หรือโปรแกรมอื่นๆ ในการออกแบบได้ ขึ้น CAD เบื้องต้นได้ หรือสามารถตรวจไฟล์ CAD ตามที่กำหนดได้ มีความรู้ในขั้นตอนการผลิตเครื่องประดับ สามารถพัฒนากลไก หรือแก้ไขงานเครื่องประดับระหว่างการผลิตได้เมื่อพบข้อผิดพลาด สามารถ QC งานเครื่องประดับได้ ติดตามระยะเวลาการผลิตให้งานเดินตามกำหนด มีทักษะการสื่อสารและประสานงานระหว่างฝ่ายขายและฝ่ายผลิต เพื่อให้ได้งานตรงตามที่ลูกค้าต้องการ มีความรู้เบื้องต้นเรื่องเพชรและพลอย จัดเก็บข้อมูลงานออกแบบและการผลิตให้เป็นระบบและตรวจสอบได้ คุณสมบัติ ประสบการณ์ด้านการออกแบบเครื่องประดับ 3 ปีขึ้นไป (หากเป็น Fine Jewelry จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษ) ใช้โปรแกรม CAD ได้ (Rhino/Matrix หรือเทียบเท่า) หรือสามารถบรีฟและตรวจงาน CAD ได้ ใช้ Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop หรือโปรแกรมออกแบบอื่นๆ ได้ มีทักษะการสเก็ตช์ 2D และมีสายตาด้านความงาม เข้าใจขั้นตอนและข้อจำกัดของกระบวนการผลิต มีความรู้พื้นฐานเรื่องเพชรและพลอย ละเอียดรอบคอบ และสามารถตรวจ QC งานได้ สื่อสารและประสานงานข้ามฝ่ายได้ดี ทำงานเชิงรุก และดูแลงานหลายชิ้นพร้อมกันได้ จะพิจารณาเป็นพิเศษหาก สนใจหรือเคยมีประสบการณ์ด้าน Sourcing เพชรและพลอย (ไม่จำเป็น เรามีการสอนงาน) มีประสบการณ์งานออกแบบตามสั่ง (Custom/Bespoke) คุ้นเคยกับตลาดทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ
