Senior Cost Manager – Sydney We are currently recruiting for a leading, privately held cost consultancy that’s quietly dominating the national market and growing organically. You will have the opportunity to work on large-scale Commercial, healthcare, data centres, education, and major mixed-use projects. With a strong pipeline of MEP-heavy projects across sectors such as mission-critical infrastructure, healthcare, and complex commercial builds, they’re looking to bring on MEP Cost Managers to strengthen their teams. This is a rare opportunity to join a non-corporate, high-performance team where you'll be trusted to deliver, given autonomy, and backed with real support and mentorship. The Role End-to-end cost management of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire packages Preparing estimates, detailed cost plans, BOQs, and value engineering reports Leading procurement, tender review, and contractor negotiations Managing progress claims, cost reporting, and forecasting across live projects Working directly with clients, services engineers, and head contractors Supporting junior team members and contributing to internal MEP expertise What We’re Looking For: 5+ years in quantity surveying or cost management, with MEP focus Strong understanding of local services trades, construction methodologies & supply chains Confident working across pre- and post-contract phases Comfortable client-facing, with excellent reporting & presentation skills Bonus if you’ve worked on data centres, healthcare, pharma, or defence builds.
