The Software Engineer (Embedded C++) will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software solutions (Automation) within the manufacturing sector. This role is based in Johor, and requires a strong background in C++ development for embedded systems. This is an interdisciplinary role combining Artificial Intelligence, robotics, simulation, and software engineering to build safe, scalable, and intelligent autonomous solutions. Description Develop and implement embedded software solutions using C++ for industrial applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications. Perform software debugging, troubleshooting, and optimisation to ensure reliability and performance. Maintain and enhance existing software systems to meet evolving project needs. Conduct thorough testing and validation of software to ensure compliance with industry standards. Document software designs, processes, and best practices for future reference. Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality coding standards. Support hardware integration and system-level testing as required. Profile A successful Software Engineer (Embedded C++) should have: A strong foundation in C++ programming for embedded systems. Solid understanding of software development life cycles and methodologies. Experience with embedded systems and MCU/MPU architectures (ARM, RISC-V, etc.). Familiarity with hardware communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, CAN Bus, and EtherCAT. Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems. Knowledge of hardware-software integration processes. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
