Assistant Cost Accounting Manager

Assistant Cost Accounting Manager – (Sri Racha) Job Description  Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cost accounting systems and policies to ensure accurate and consistent product and service costing across the business units.  Direct the analysis of production, operational, and overhead costs, guiding the team in identifying cost drivers, variances, and cost optimization opportunities.  Review and approve product costing, standard costing, and cost allocation methodologies, ensuring alignment with business needs and accounting standards.  Develop and maintain management reports and dashboards on costs, margins, and profitability to support monthly monitoring, including analysis of cost variances, key drivers and root causes, with recommendations for corrective actions and improvements.  Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities related to inventory valuation, cost of sales, and manufacturing costs, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.  Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team, ensuring adequate skills and capacity to support the business.  Establish and enforce internal controls over cost accounting processes and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.  Act as the key point of contact for cost-related audits, providing documentation and explanations to internal/external auditors as needed.  Own the annual budgeting process for cost of goods sold and related expenses, developing key cost assumptions and estimates in close collaboration with Sales and Production teams. Qualifications  Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or related field.  Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing/industrial environment.  In-depth knowledge of Thai Financial Reporting Standards (TFRS) and cost accounting principles  Proficient in ERP/accounting systems such as SAP.  Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP); Power BI and experience using AI agents for reporting, analysis, and process automation are a plus.  Strong analytical, presentation, and team management skills.  Strong leadership with the ability to make decisions and resolve issues effectively.  Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.  Willing to be based at the factory in Sri Racha and work Monday - Saturday.
