R&D Manager

Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize pet food formulations based on nutritional requirements, market trends, and customer needs. Lead new product development from concept to commercialization, including ingredient selection, packaging, and labeling. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Marketing, and Sales to ensure successful product launches. Ensure products comply with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Conduct product testing, validation, and continuous improvement of existing products. Research new ingredients, technologies, and market trends to drive innovation. Provide technical support and expertise on pet nutrition and product performance. Improve R&D processes to accelerate product development and enhance operational efficiency. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Animal Science, Food Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D or product development, preferably in the pet food, food, or FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of pet nutrition, ingredient functionality, and product formulation. Understanding of food manufacturing processes, quality systems, and supply chain operations. Knowledge of pet food regulations and industry standards (AAFCO, FEDIAF, etc.). Good command of spoken and written English. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Able to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
