Business Consultant (BOI License Specialist) Our client is a business consulting firm affiliated with one of Japan’s largest financial groups , providing a wide range of consulting and advisory services to Japanese and international companies in Thailand and across the ASEAN region. Job Description We are urgently seeking a Business Consultant (BOI License Specialist) to advise and support clients, mainly Japanese companies, regarding BOI promotion, investment privileges and compliance in Thailand. Key Responsibilities: Research BOI regulations, policies and updates to provide accurate advice to clients Advise clients on BOI promotion eligibility, requirements and investment privileges Prepare and review BOI application documents and supporting materials Liaise with BOI officers and relevant government authorities on behalf of clients Support clients throughout the BOI application, approval, amendment and renewal processes Monitor and advise clients on ongoing BOI compliance, reporting and audits Research market-entry requirements for new industries and business activities Provide general business consulting, regulatory guidance and company setup support Prepare reports and presentations for clients Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and support their business growth in Thailand Participate in other consulting projects such as market research, M&A, business expansion and ESG-related projects Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Accounting or a related field Minimum 1.5 years of experience in BOI license, BOI application and/or BOI compliance Strong understanding of BOI laws, regulations and procedures Upper-intermediate level of English for client communication and reporting Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills Good client-handling and professional communication skills Language: Thai candidates are welcome , Japanese language ability is an advantage Half Thai/Japanese candidates are welcome Preferred: Experience working with Japanese companies or Japanese clients Experience in consulting, professional services, legal, accounting or advisory firms Experience preparing reports and providing advice directly to clients Experience working in a multicultural environment Candidates with approximately 5–6+ years of total working experience are preferred due to the client-facing nature of the role
