Kapok Limited Assistant Buyer (Womenswear) Job Responsibilities: Brand Ownership: Independently manage a designated portfolio of brands across Women’s footwear, bags and accessories, taking ownership of order placement, sales and sell-through targets. Cross-Brand Support: Provide operational and administrative support to division supervisors for brands outside of your direct portfolio to ensure seamless department-wide execution. Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, acting as the key contact for assigned brands and an operational support contact for major accounts. Performance Tracking: Monitor delivery schedules, evaluate weekly sales reports, and proactively identify performance risks or re-order opportunities for management review. Retail Engagement: Conduct regular store visits to gather qualitative feedback from the sales floor, translating customer and stock insights into actionable product and assortment recommendations for your brand mix. Product Training: Develop and deliver product training materials to front-line retail teams to maximize sales potential and product knowledge for newly introduced brands. Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency in the buying cycle by maintaining order sheets, streamlining stock allocation, and refining reporting templates. Skills and Qualifications Degree holder in fashion or business-related discipline. Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience is a must. Experience in branded merchandise buying, store consolidation, product replenishment, is essential. Detail oriented, proactive, sensitive to numbers with problem-solving mindset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong communicator. Excellent literacy in Microsoft Office application, proficient in Excel. (Pivot Table, Vlookup, Formula…etc.) Proficient in spoken & written English and Chinese.
