Sea Import Operations Supervisor / Seafreight Operations Supervisor (Import)

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Manage the day-to-day operations of ocean freight handling from the Kwai Chung facility, ensuring all shipments are executed according to scheduled timelines and compliance standards. Coordinate vessel bookings, consolidate shipping documentation and liaise efficiently with customers, customs brokers, and shipping lines to ensure seamless cargo flow. Oversee import and export procedures, including customs clearance processes, adhering to all local and international regulatory requirements. Monitor cargo status and promptly resolve any operational issues, delays, or discrepancies, maintaining clear records and communication with relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and warehouse personnel to guarantee end-to-end service quality. Utilise CEVA’s logistics IT systems to track shipments, manage inventory records, and generate operational reports for management insights. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational inefficiencies and suggesting proactive solutions to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? HKCEE F.5 or above / HKDSE / Diploma graduate or above Minimum 5 years' solid experience in freight forwarding industry (Ocean Import) With at least 2 year supervisor experience. Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin Proficiency in MS office applications Good Knowledge of shipping Immediate available is highly preferred WHAT WE OFFER?
