The Assistant Logistics Manager (Export) is responsible for managing export operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliance shipment execution. The role oversees export activities in compliance with trade regulation, DFT, BOI, Excise Tax and Customs requirements, while leading the export team, optimizing transportation costs, and partners to support business objectives and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities. Lead and manage end-to-end export operations to ensure timely, accurate and compliant shipment execution. Ensure full compliance with international trade regulation and government requirement, including Department of Foreign Trade (DFT), Board of Investment (BOI), Customs, and other applicable regulations. Supervise, Coach and develop export team to achieve operational excellence and business objectives. Monitor, analyze and optimize transportation and export costs while maintaining service quality and delivery performance. Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including Warehouse, Planning, Production, Customer service, Quality to ensure smooth export operations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers and logistics services providers to secure competitive rates and reliable logistics solutions. Effectively prioritize multiple tasks, manage urgent shipments proactively to operational challenges. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance export efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer service level. Resolve issues related to export documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and shipment delays. Monitor export performance through KPIs and prepare reports and cost analysis for management review. Support logistics strategy implementation and contribute to supply chain improvement project. Review, Verify and ensure the accuracy of documentation require for Excise Tax declarations and submission, coordinate with relevant internal departments and government authorities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and submission deadlines. Qualifications. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, with strong experience in Export Operations. Solid Knowledge of International trade regulation, export documentation, DFT, BOI, Customs procedures, and import-export compliance. Proven experience in leading and managing the export team. Strong and analytical skill with proven experience in transportation cost management and logistics optimization. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Strong network and relational management skills with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics service provides. Excellent planning, prioritization, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Experience in the Food or Food Manufacturing industry is highly preferred. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Good command of English, both written and spoken.
