Key Responsibilities Manage the full import process as the importer of record Classify products using HS codes and ensure compliance with import regulations (TISI, FDA, DIT, Excise Department, etc.) Review and manage shipping documents, and approve customs declaration documents Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers for smooth customs clearance Collaborate with warehouse teams to manage cargo delivery and distribution Monitor and manage import licenses and permit validity Calculate logistics costs including international transportation and related expenses Compute product cost (including product price, freight, and other associated costs) Handle TISI license application processes Support additional related tasks such as in-store label checks and compliance verification MUST TO HAVE Minimum 5 years of experience in import/export operations (Import-focused experience is highly preferred) Strong knowledge and experience in HS code classification Experience working with freight forwarders and customs authorities Knowledge of import regulations and licensing procedures Experience handling import licenses (e.g., TISI, FDA) Bachelor’s degree or higher in Logistics field or related. Business-level English proficiency ( Internal Communication is English) GOOD TO HAVE Customs specialist license or equivalent certification Experience handling materials such as: Raw materials Wood, metal, resin Textile or fabric-related products
