Your tasks: Support product development projects and design production and test systems for new Leuze sensors with a focus on software and electronic, from conception through testing to commissioning, and develop new software to support production capacity. Enhance and maintain existing software to eliminate human errors, improve equipment throughput, data process monitoring, failure detection, improve process control, and reduce manufacturing cost. Actively support the (further) development of high-performance software for test data and machine data acquisition systems in modern manufacturing environments, as well as production-related applications, web applications, and databases. Contribute your expertise to series production, for example, in fault analysis on production systems or the development of operating resources. Lead & support initiatives to improve performance. Your qualifications: Min. bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electronics or any related field, with a focus is software integration. >5 years’ experience in programming machine software, preferably in (opto-) Electronic environment. Experience in programming in C#.NET, ASP.NET Core as well as Database in SQL is a plus. Multi-tasking environment & work independently with a high level of personal responsibilities in fast growing environment. Professional experience in the field of testing and measurement technology Traveling overseas is a must. Understanding of German Culture in work practices to achieve high quality results.

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.

Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
