Operations Executive

About the Role You will be involved in the end-to-end processes of the merchant lifecycle management from onboarding to transaction monitoring and dispute handling while ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Execute merchant onboarding activities, including document review, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and system setup in line with internal SOPs Monitor daily transactions across payment channels including but not limited to FPX, DuitNow QR, eWallets, and card payments; flag and escalate any irregularities Support dispute and chargeback processes, ensuring cases are handled within SLA timelines Handle Level 2 (L2) merchant inquiries, investigating and resolving issues beyond first-line customer support Work closely with internal teams (Compliance, Finance, Risk, Tech) and external partners (banks, payment providers) to resolve operational matters Maintain accurate merchant records for re-KYC and periodic reviews Assist in preparing operational and regulatory reports Initiate and contribute to business process improvement activities within the department and organisation Responsibilities Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in payments, fintech, or banking operations (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply) Basic understanding of AML/CFT is an advantage Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving fintech environment
