Position: ASP.NET Core Developer Position Level: Assistant Manager / Senior Executive Location: Puchong, Selangor Salary: RM5000 – RM6500 Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated ASP.NET Core Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications. If you are a degree holder with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the .NET ecosystem and modern front-end scripting, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities Application Development : Design, develop, build, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, scalable, and reliable applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 6+, and MVC architecture. Front-End Development : Develop responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap, ensuring an optimal user experience across browsers and devices. Database & ORM Management : Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data access layers using Entity Framework Core with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL. API Development & Integration : Design, develop, consume, integrate, and maintain secure RESTful Web APIs and microservices to support application functionality and system integration. Testing, Debugging & Quality Assurance : Conduct unit testing, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot and debug existing applications, and implement performance improvements to ensure software quality, reliability, and maintainability. Development Tools & Best Practices : Manage source code using Git (GitHub/GitLab), utilize development tools such as Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code, participate in code reviews, and follow established software development standards and best practices. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement : Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, communicate technical solutions effectively, solve complex technical problems, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Leverage familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Workspace) and modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue.js) where applicable. Job Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience with a primary focus on the ASP.NET Core framework. Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and MVC architecture. Strong hands-on experience in frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and responsive web development. Solid understanding of Entity Framework Core and relational database concepts. Experience developing and integrating RESTful Web APIs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
